"The Creator, in taking infinite pains to shroud with mystery His presence in every atom of creation, could have had but one motive - a sensitive desire that men seek Him only through free will."
When we find ourselves "stuck" in various areas of our lives, we can recognize that something within us is in need of change. Inevitably, when I would speak to someone who was unhappy with their life (relationship, career, health and well-being, etc.) I would compassionately ask "How's your spiritual connection?" The answer was always the same. Not good.
A spiritual approach to the relationship to Self requires turning our attention inward. Whether our current challenges are physical, mental, emotional or otherwise, our inherent True Nature holds all the wisdom necessary to access healing and transformation in every aspect of life.
This kind of spirituality is personally driven: it is not affiliated with any one religion or philosophy. Some of us may even have negative associations to spirituality based upon experiences from our childhood or interactions with others.
All that is required for a spiritual approach to healing is the willingness to accept there may be more than meets the eye.
